How to wash a car effectively
If you want to learn how to wash your car effectively at home, check out the step-by-step guide below.
1. Prepare Supplies You’re going to need two buckets of water, a sponge, shampoo, and some space in your garage or similar.
2. Prepare Shampoo Dilute one capful of car shampoo into a pail of clean water.
3. Washing With a clean sponge, gently wash the car with the diluted car shampoo.
4. Rinsing Rinse with the separate pail of clean water and wipe the surface totally dry with two to three microfiber towels. Do not mix the cloth that has wiped the wheels and lower body to dry the bonnet. Keep each microfibre cloth separate for each part of the car.
5. Drying It’s a good idea to dry off water with a towel. While not crucial, this step will prevent water from drying on the paint and leaving water marks.

There are no strict rules for the frequency of washing your car. Depending on your usage and where you drive it, your car may accumulate dirt faster or slower.
For average city use, we do recommend washing the car once a week. That way, you will make sure your vehicle will always look good and its paint will be protected.
How should I wash my car?
The best way to keep your car sparkling clean is to take it for professional washing. Other options include drive-through car wash and washing your car on your own.
Can I just wash my car at home?
Yes absolutely can with the correct car washing equipment.
If you are an enthusiast who enjoys washing your car by yourself, here are some useful tips.
If you have access to a hose, clean running water is best for loosening grimes, dirt, fine sand, etc. However, using two buckets of clean water does the job too.

As long as the top is properly latched, we can wash your convertible just like any other car. We have experience with taking care of fabric tops so you don’t have to worry!
Can I wash a newly painted car?
Yes you can. Typically by the time you’ve collected your vehicle – the paint’s surface would have been completely cured. If you’re worried – you can always wait a day or two before washing your vehicle.
Can I wash a car with a cracked windshield?
Yes, but take note high pressure might make the crack to become longer hence it will be recommended to replace them before coming for car wash.
