The Control Upper Arm Bushings are subjected to extreme pressure when braking or during acceleration. Over time the rubber bushings become fatigue and cracked. It is prudent to replace both arms together, saving on long-term costs.
The Front Ball Joints and Bushings integral to the Control Arms are subject to wear over time. Replacements are recommended when they are visually worn as in this picture.
