The brief
A Tesla Model Y came in for ZeTough Titanium paint protection, the job that takes a car's paint, brings it back to its best, and then seals a hard, slick coating over the top so it stays that way and is far easier to keep clean. Even new paint isn't perfectly smooth, it picks up bonded contaminants, fine marring and dullness over time, and a coating laid over a dirty or marred surface just locks the flaws in. So the work is prep first: wash, decontaminate, refine the finish, get the paint clean and bright. Then the ZeTough Titanium coating bonds to that fresh surface, adding a tough protective layer that holds the gloss, beads water, sheds dirt and grime, and gives that immersed, mirror-like shine.
The diagnosis
The walk-around assessed the paint, the bonded contaminants, the marring, the areas where the gloss had dulled, and set the plan: a full decontamination, a finish refinement to take out the marring and bring back the depth, and then the ZeTough Titanium coating over the corrected paint. The Model Y was a good base, just needing the surface cleaned and refined before sealing. So it was a paint prep and correction followed by ZeTough Titanium paint protection.
The work
The car was washed, the wheels and arches cleaned, and the paint decontaminated of bonded grime, tar and fallout, then the finish refined to remove the marring and bring back the depth and gloss. With the paint clean and corrected, the ZeTough Titanium coating was applied, bonded and cured so it forms a hard, protective layer over the whole car. The glass and trim were tidied to finish. The finished car was checked over in good light, the paint deep and reflective, the coating even, and the shine immersed and mirror-like.
The outcome
An immersed, mirror-like shine on the paintwork, the ZeTough Titanium coating sealing it, the surface slick so it beads water and sheds dirt, and a car that stays cleaner and looks brilliant for the long run. The Model Y went home looking awesomely brilliant, the finish rich and glossy and protected. A ceramic coating done over properly prepped paint isn't just the look on the day, it's the easy upkeep and the protection that keeps the car looking that way.
