Audi A3, resprayed and back to its best.

This Audi A3 came in with bland, damaged paintwork. The owner asked for a full exterior respray, finished with a ZeTough Ceramic Paint Protection coating.

What the car came in for

This Audi A3 came in with bland, damaged paintwork. The owner wanted the car restored to its showroom condition with a fresh coat of paint and panel repair.

Over the course of a week the team dismantled the necessary parts, inspected and repaired the scratches and dents, wet-sanded the body smooth, masked off every non-painted surface, and resprayed the car in the booth. The new paint was sanded back, polished, and a ZeTough Ceramic Paint Protection coating was applied. The photos below follow the car from arrival to the finished reveal.

What a full respray involves

A full respray is mostly preparation. Before any colour goes on, the team dismantles the parts that get in the way, repairs scratches and dents, wet-sands the whole body smooth, and masks off every surface that should not be painted. A sound, even foundation is what makes the final finish look right.

  • Buffed to a deep shine and sealed with ZeTough Ceramic

Once the car is sprayed in the booth, the paint is wet-sanded and polished to bring up the shine, and the trim and parts are refitted. A ZeTough Ceramic Paint Protection coating is applied on top to keep the finish glossy and protected for years.
