🎨What the car came in for
This BMW 2 Series was brought in for a damage assessment. The body had long scratches on many panels and a dent that needed repair, so the owner asked for a full exterior respray.
The team dismantled the necessary parts, scanned the body for scratches and dents, patched every imperfection, then resprayed the car in the booth. The fresh paint was sanded and polished before the trim went back on. The photos below follow the car from arrival to the finished reveal.
🛠️What a full respray involves
A full respray is mostly preparation. Before any colour goes on, the team patches chips, wet-sands the whole body smooth, and masks off every surface that should not be painted. A sound, even foundation is what makes the final finish look right.
- Scratches and dents repaired before any paint goes on
- Body wet-sanded and patched to an even surface
- Full exterior coat applied in a dedicated spray booth
- Buffed to a deep shine before the trim is refitted
Once the car is sprayed in the booth, the paint is wet-sanded and polished to bring up the shine, and the trim and parts are refitted. Careful prep and a controlled booth are what keep the finish even across every panel.
