This white BMW 3 Series arrived with deep scratches across its doors and panels, so the car came in for a full respray and a ZeTough Ceramic coating.

What the car came in for

This white BMW 3 Series came to Revol Carz with significant scratches across its doors and panels. The owner wanted the paintwork restored to showroom condition, so the car went in for a full exterior respray.

Over seven days the car was stripped down, its scratches and dents repaired and wet-sanded smooth, masked, then resprayed and polished to a mirror finish. The photos below follow that work from the day it arrived through to the before and after reveal, with the car sealed in a ZeTough Ceramic coating at the end.

What a full respray involves

A full respray is not just a change of colour. The result depends on what happens before any paint is laid: dismantling trim and parts, checking the surface for scratches and dents, patching uneven areas with filler, and wet-sanding until the foundation is smooth.

  • Scratches and dents repaired, filled, and wet-sanded smooth before any paint
  • Primer coat for a stable, long-lasting finish
  • Compound-polished to a mirror shine
  • Sealed with a ZeTough Ceramic coating

At Revol Carz the panels are primed, wet-sanded again, then carefully masked before spraying. After the coat is laid, the paint is compound-polished to a mirror finish and the car is reassembled. A ZeTough Ceramic coating on top keeps the new paint protected and glossy for years.
