🎨What the car came in for
This BMW 435i came to Revol Carz with paintwork that had lost its depth and collected blemishes across the body. The owner wanted to bring it back to the condition it had when it left the showroom.
Over seven days the car was stripped down, its panels inspected and repaired, wet-sanded smooth, then masked and resprayed. After polishing and reassembly, the car was sealed with a ZeTough Ceramic Paint Protection coating. The photos below follow that process from the day it arrived through to the before and after reveal.
🛠️What a full respray involves
A full respray is not just a change of colour. The result depends on what happens before any paint is laid: dismantling trim and parts, checking the body for scratches and blemishes, patching and levelling imperfections, and wet-sanding until the surface is smooth.
- Surface stripped, patched, and wet-sanded smooth before any paint
- Primer coat for a stable, long-lasting finish
- Polished after painting to bring up a deep gloss
- Sealed with a ZeTough Ceramic Paint Protection coating
At Revol Carz the panels are primed, wet-sanded again, then carefully masked before spraying. After the coat is laid, the paint is sanded once more and polished to bring up the gloss before the car is reassembled. A ZeTough Ceramic Paint Protection coating on top keeps the new finish protected and glossy.
