🎨What the car came in for
This BMW 840i Cabriolet arrived at Revol Carz for a full exterior respray. The owner wanted the paintwork restored to a clean, even finish across every panel.
Over six days across a week (Days 2 through 7, with the car having arrived the day before), the team stripped the car down, examined and repaired the surface, wet-sanded it smooth, masked it, resprayed it, then polished and reassembled. A ZeTough Ceramic Paint Protection coating was applied on top to protect the new finish.
🛠️What a full respray involves
A full respray begins with dismantling the car: trim, lights, and other parts come off so every edge and panel can be painted properly. The exposed surface is then checked for scratches, dents, and uneven areas, which are patched and repaired before anything else happens.
- Parts and trim dismantled so every panel edge is painted cleanly
- Surface patched, repaired, and wet-sanded smooth before any paint
- Sprayed in a controlled booth, then polished to a deep shine
- Sealed with a ZeTough Ceramic Paint Protection coating
At Revol Carz the panels are wet-sanded to a smooth, level foundation, then masked before the car goes into the spray booth. Once the coat is laid, the paint is polished to bring up the gloss, and the car is reassembled. A ZeTough Ceramic Paint Protection coating applied over the top keeps the new finish protected and glossy long after the car leaves the workshop.
