Honda Civic, fully resprayed to a deep gloss finish at Revol Carz.

What the car came in for

This Honda Civic came in for a full exterior respray. Its paintwork had lost its shine and picked up scratches, dents, and chips over the years, and the owner wanted it brought back to a showroom-fresh condition.

The team stripped off the parts that needed to come away, checked the body for damage, patched and panel-beat the uneven areas, then wet-sanded, sprayed, and buffed the car back to a deep gloss. A ZeTough Ceramic Paint Protection coating went on at the end. The photos below follow the car through the job.

What a full respray involves

A full respray is mostly preparation. Before any colour goes on, the team checks the body for scratches, dents, and chips, patches and panel-beats the uneven areas, then wet-sands the whole car smooth. A sound, even foundation is what makes the final finish look right.

  • Body checked, then chips patched and panels beaten smooth
  • Whole surface wet-sanded before spraying
  • Full exterior coat applied in a dedicated spray booth
  • Buffed to a deep shine and sealed with ZeTough Ceramic

Once the car is sprayed in the booth, the paint is wet-sanded again and buffed to bring up the shine, the trim and parts are refitted, and a ZeTough Ceramic Paint Protection coating is applied on top to keep the finish glossy and protected for years.
