Honda Civic, resprayed back to its former glory.

This Honda Civic rolled in for a fresh coat of paint. The owner asked for a full exterior respray, finished with a ZeTough Titanium coating.

What the car came in for

This Honda Civic rolled in for a fresh coat of paint. The owner asked to have it restored to its former glory and kept protected and glossy.

Over the course of a week the team dismantled the necessary parts, checked the body and patched every scratch and dent, wet-sanded it smooth, masked off every non-painted surface, and resprayed the car in the booth. A ZeTough Titanium coating with above 9H hardness went on at the end. The photos below follow the car from arrival to the finished reveal.

From wet-sanding to the reveal

What a full respray involves

A full respray is mostly preparation. Before any colour goes on, the team patches chips, wet-sands the whole body smooth, and masks off every surface that should not be painted. A sound, even foundation is what makes the final finish look right.

  • Scratches and dents patched and the body wet-sanded smooth
  • Every non-painted surface masked before spraying
  • Full exterior coat applied in a dedicated spray booth
  • Buffed to a deep shine and sealed with ZeTough Titanium

Once the car is sprayed in the booth, the paint is wet-sanded and buffed to bring up the shine, the trim and parts are refitted, and a ZeTough Titanium coating is applied on top to keep the finish glossy and protected for years.
