🎨What the car came in for
This Honda Odyssey arrived with dents and scratches across several panels, and paintwork that needed a fresh coat. The owner wanted the car restored to its showroom condition, so it came in for a full exterior respray.
Over the course of a week the team dismantled the necessary parts, did panel beating, patched the dents and scratches, wet-sanded the whole surface smooth, and masked the body before spraying the car in the booth. The photos below follow the car from arrival to the finished reveal.
🛠️What a full respray involves
A full respray is mostly preparation. Before any colour goes on, the team dismantles the necessary parts, does panel beating, patches dents and scratches, wet-sands the whole body smooth, and masks off every surface that should not be painted. A sound, even foundation is what makes the final finish look right.
- Parts dismantled and panels beaten back into shape
- Body wet-sanded smooth and fully masked before spraying
- Full exterior coat applied in a dedicated spray booth
- Buffed to a deep, even shine across every panel
Once the car is sprayed in the booth, the paint is sanded and buffed to bring up the shine, then the trim and parts are refitted. The result is an even, glossy finish across every panel.
