Jaguar XF, resprayed back to its original condition.

This XF came in with long and deep scratches across the body. The owner wanted it restored, so the car went in for a full exterior respray, finished with a ZeTough Ceramic Paint Protection coating.

What the car came in for

The paintwork on this Jaguar XF had seen better days, with long, short and deep scratches across the body. The owner wanted the car restored to its original condition, so it came in for a full exterior respray.

The team dismantled the necessary parts, prepared and masked the body, then sprayed the car in the booth. Another round of sanding and polishing brought up the shine before the removed parts were refitted, and a ZeTough Ceramic Paint Protection coating finished the job. The photos below follow the car from arrival to the finished reveal.

What a full respray involves

A full respray is mostly preparation. Before any colour goes on, the team dismantles the necessary parts, patches scratches and chips, wet-sands the whole body smooth, and masks off every surface that should not be painted. A sound, even foundation is what makes the final finish look right.

Once the car is sprayed in the booth, the paint is sanded and polished to bring up the shine, the trim and parts are refitted, and a ZeTough Ceramic Paint Protection coating is applied on top to keep the finish glossy and protected for years.
