Jaguar XF, resprayed and back to its showroom glory.

The owner wanted this Jaguar XF revived to its showroom glory. The car came in for a full exterior respray, finished with a ZeTough Ceramic Paint Protection coating.

What the car came in for

The owner of this Jaguar XF wanted the car brought back to its showroom glory. He entrusted the car to the team for a full exterior respray.

Over the course of a week the team dismantled the necessary parts, examined the surface for scratches and dents and patched them, wet-sanded the body smooth, masked off the non-painted surfaces, and resprayed the car in the booth before buffing it to a deep shine. A ZeTough Ceramic Paint Protection coating went on at the end for a deep, protected finish. The photos below follow the car from arrival to the finished reveal.

From masking to the reveal

What a full respray involves

A full respray is mostly preparation. Before any colour goes on, the team patches chips, wet-sands the whole body smooth, and masks off every surface that should not be painted. A sound, even foundation is what makes the final finish look right.

  • Full exterior coat applied in a dedicated spray booth
  • Buffed to a deep shine and sealed with ZeTough Ceramic

Once the car is sprayed in the booth, the paint is wet-sanded and buffed to bring up the shine, the trim and parts are refitted, and a ZeTough Ceramic Paint Protection coating is applied on top to keep the finish glossy and protected for years.
