🎨What the car came in for
This Jaguar XF arrived at Revol Carz with paintwork that had lost its lustre. The surface was dull and carried stonechip and scratches across multiple panels. The owner decided it was time for a full exterior respray to bring the car back to showroom condition.
Over seven days the car was stripped down, the panels patched and wet-sanded smooth, masked, then resprayed and polished. The photos below follow that work from the day the car arrived through to the before and after reveal, with the car sealed in a ZeTough Ceramic Paint Protection coating at the end.
🛠️What a full respray involves
A full respray restores more than colour. The result depends on what happens before any paint is laid: dismantling trim and parts, inspecting every panel, patching chipped and uneven areas with filler, and wet-sanding until the foundation is smooth and level.
- Surface stripped, patched, and wet-sanded smooth before any paint
- Primer coat for a stable, long-lasting finish
- Oven-cured, then polished to a deep, even shine
- Sealed with a ZeTough Ceramic Paint Protection coating
At Revol Carz the panels are primed, wet-sanded again, then carefully masked before spraying. After the coat is laid and cured, the paint is polished to bring up the shine and the car is reassembled. A ZeTough Ceramic Paint Protection coating on top keeps the new paint protected and glossy for years.
