🎨What the car came in for
This Jaguar XJ arrived at Revol Carz with scratches all over the paintwork, paint peeling in places, and stone chips across the car's surface. The owner wanted the car restored to its former glory, so it came in for a full repaint and some premium paint protection.
Over several days the car was dismantled, wet-sanded smooth, masked, then resprayed and polished to a mirror finish. The photos below follow that work from the day it arrived through to the before and after reveal, with the car sealed in a ZeTough Titanium coating at the end.

🛠️What a full respray involves
A full respray is not just a change of colour. The result depends on what happens before any paint is laid: dismantling trim and parts, checking the surface for imperfections, and wet-sanding the car repeatedly until the foundation is smooth.
Parts dismantled and the surface wet-sanded smooth before any paint
Panels primed for a stable, long-lasting finish
Compound-polished to a mirror shine
Sealed with a ZeTough Titanium coating
At Revol Carz the panels are primed and wet-sanded, then carefully masked so only the painted surfaces are exposed. After the coat is laid, the painter scrutinizes and touches up any subtle imperfections, the paint is compound-polished to a mirror finish, and the removed parts are reinstalled. A ZeTough Titanium coating on top keeps the new paint protected and glossy.
