Kia Sorento, given a full respray to bring back its shine.

Years of scratches, peeling paint, and stone chips had dulled this Kia Sorento, so the owner brought it in for a full respray and a ZeTough Ceramic Paint Protection finish.

What the car came in for

This Kia Sorento had seen better days. Its paintwork carried scratches all over, paint had started to peel, and stone chips marked the surface. The owner entrusted Revol Carz Makeover to restore the car to its former glory with a full respray.

Over several days the car was stripped down, its surface checked and patched, masked, then resprayed and polished to a mirror finish. The photos below follow that work from the day it arrived through to the before and after reveal, with the car finished in a ZeTough Ceramic Paint Protection coating.

What a full respray involves

A full respray is not just a change of colour. The result depends on what happens before any paint is laid: dismantling trim and parts, checking the surface for imperfections, patching uneven areas with filler, and sanding until the foundation is smooth.

  • Surface checked, patched, and sanded smooth before any paint
  • Trim and glass masked for a precise finish
  • Compound-polished to a mirror shine
  • Sealed with a ZeTough Ceramic Paint Protection coating

At Revol Carz the panels are prepared and carefully masked before spraying. After the coat is laid, the paint is compound-polished to a mirror finish and the removed parts are reinstalled. A ZeTough Ceramic Paint Protection coating on top keeps the new paint protected and glossy.
