Lexus ES300h, resprayed back to showroom finish.

The owner of this Lexus ES300h brought the car to Revol Carz to fix dull, scratched, and peeling paintwork across multiple panels. The car went through a full respray and a ZeTough Ceramic Paint Protection coating.

What the car came in for

This Lexus ES300h arrived at Revol Carz with paintwork that had lost its lustre: dull panels, deep scratches, and paint peeling off in several areas. The owner wanted the car restored to a clean, even finish.

Over seven days the team stripped the car down, patched and wet-sanded the bodywork smooth, masked it for the spray booth, then sprayed, polished, and reassembled it. A ZeTough Ceramic Paint Protection coating was applied at the end to protect the new paintwork.

What a full respray involves

A full respray addresses more than the colour. The outcome depends on what happens before any paint is laid: stripping off trim and panels, identifying every scratch and dent, patching with filler, and wet-sanding until the surface is perfectly smooth.

  • Surface stripped, patched, and wet-sanded smooth before any paint
  • Primer coat for a stable, long-lasting finish
  • Oven-baked, then sanded and polished to a deep gloss
  • Sealed with a ZeTough Ceramic Paint Protection coating

At Revol Carz the prepared surface is primed, wet-sanded again, and carefully masked before the car enters the spray booth. After the new coat is applied and oven-baked, the paint is sanded, machine-polished to a deep gloss, and the car is reassembled. A ZeTough Ceramic Paint Protection coating is applied on top to lock in the finish and guard it against the elements.
