Lexus RX350, resprayed and back to its best.

The owner wanted this RX350's damaged paintwork restored to a showroom finish. The car came in for a full exterior respray, finished with a ZeTough Ceramic Paint Protection coating.

What the car came in for

The paintwork on this Lexus RX350 had picked up dents, stone chips and scratches over the years. The owner wanted the car restored to its former glory, so it came in for a full exterior respray.

The team examined the body for damage, patched the chipped areas, wet-sanded the whole surface smooth, then masked off every non-painted surface before spraying the car in the booth. A full grooming and a ZeTough Ceramic Paint Protection coating finished the job. The photos below follow the car from examination to the finished reveal.

What a full respray involves

A full respray is mostly preparation. Before any colour goes on, the team examines the body, patches dents and chips, wet-sands the whole surface smooth, and masks off every part that should not be painted. A sound, even foundation is what makes the final finish look right.

Once the car is sprayed in the booth, the paint is wet-sanded and polished to bring up the shine, the trim and parts are refitted, and a ZeTough Ceramic Paint Protection coating is applied on top to keep the finish glossy and protected for years.
