Maserati Ghibli, resprayed to a clean finish.

The owner of this Maserati Ghibli brought it in with scratches and paint peeling across several panels. The car came in for a full respray and a ZeTough Ceramic Paint Protection coating.

What the car came in for

This Maserati Ghibli arrived at Revol Carz with extensive scratches and paint peeling on several panels. The owner wanted the car restored to its original condition, so it came in for a full body respray.

Over several days the car was stripped down, the damaged surface patched and wet-sanded smooth, masked, then resprayed and polished. The photos below follow the work from the day it arrived through to the before and after reveal, with the car finished in a ZeTough Ceramic Paint Protection coating.

From strip-down to the reveal

What a full respray involves

A full respray is not just a change of colour. The result depends on what happens before any paint is laid: dismantling trim and parts, checking the surface for imperfections, patching chipped and uneven areas with filler, and wet-sanding until the foundation is smooth.

  • Surface stripped, patched, and wet-sanded smooth before any paint
  • Primer coat for a stable, long-lasting finish
  • Oven-baked, then sanded and polished to a deep shine
  • Sealed with a ZeTough Ceramic Paint Protection coating

At Revol Carz the panels are primed, wet-sanded again, then carefully masked before spraying. After the coat is laid and oven-baked, the paint is sanded once more, polished to bring up the shine, and the car is reassembled. A ZeTough Ceramic Paint Protection coating on top keeps the new paint protected and glossy for years.
