What the car came in for

This Mercedes-Benz C180 arrived at Revol Carz with bland and damaged paintwork. The owner wanted the car back to showroom condition, so it came in for a full body respray.

Over seven days the car was stripped down, its panels repaired and wet-sanded smooth, masked, then sprayed and polished. The photos below follow the work from arrival through to the before and after reveal, finishing with an interior grooming.

What a full respray involves

A full respray is more than just paint. The result depends on the preparation: dismantling trim and parts, patching and smoothing imperfections, and wet-sanding until the surface is ready to hold a finish.

  • All panels stripped, patched, and wet-sanded smooth before any paint
  • Primer coat for a stable, long-lasting finish
  • Sprayed, sanded, and machine-polished to a deep shine
  • Reassembled with full interior grooming for a complete result

At Revol Carz the panels are primed, wet-sanded again, then masked before spraying. After the coat is laid, the paint is sanded once more and machine-polished to bring up the shine. The car is then reassembled and finished with an interior grooming.
