What the car came in for

This Mercedes-Benz CLA200 came to Revol Carz for a full exterior respray. The owner wanted the paintwork restored to a proper, even finish across every panel.

Over seven days the car was stripped down, its surface checked and patched, wet-sanded smooth, masked, then resprayed and polished before reassembly. The photos below follow that work from the strip-down through to the before and after reveal.

From strip-down to the reveal

What a full respray involves

A full respray is not just about colour. The result depends on what happens before any paint is laid: dismantling trim and parts, checking the surface for imperfections, patching chips and uneven areas with filler, and wet-sanding until the foundation is smooth.

  • Primer coat for a stable, long-lasting finish
  • Cured, then sanded and polished to a deep shine
  • Reassembled with care, every trim piece refitted properly

At Revol Carz the panels are primed, wet-sanded again, then carefully masked before spraying. After the coat is laid and cured, the paint is polished to bring up the shine and the car is reassembled panel by panel.
