Mercedes-Benz E200, resprayed and back to its elegant best.
This E200 came in with scratches and a lot of stone chips across the paintwork. The owner wanted it restored, so the car went in for a full exterior respray, finished with a ZeTough Ceramic Paint Protection coating.
This Mercedes-Benz E200 had scratches and a lot of stone chips across the paintwork. The owner wanted the car's elegance restored, so it came in for a full exterior respray.
Over the course of a week the team dismantled the necessary parts, repaired the scratch and dent damage, wet-sanded the whole surface smooth, and masked the body before spraying the car in the booth. Compound polishing brought up the shine, and a ZeTough Ceramic Paint Protection coating finished the job. The photos below follow the car from arrival to the finished reveal.

🛠️What a full respray involves
A full respray is mostly preparation. Before any colour goes on, the team dismantles the necessary parts, repairs scratches and dents, wet-sands the whole body smooth, and masks off every surface that should not be painted. A sound, even foundation is what makes the final finish look right.
Parts dismantled and scratches and dents repaired
Body wet-sanded smooth and fully masked before spraying
Full exterior coat applied in a dedicated spray booth
Compound-polished to a deep shine and sealed with ZeTough Ceramic
Once the car is sprayed in the booth, the paint is wet-sanded and compound-polished to bring up the shine, the trim and parts are refitted, and a ZeTough Ceramic Paint Protection coating is applied on top to keep the finish glossy and protected for years.
