Mercedes-Benz E200, resprayed back to showroom condition.

This E200 came in with stone chips and scratches across the paintwork. The owner wanted it restored, so the car went in for a full exterior respray, finished with a ZeTough Titanium Paint Protection coating.

What the car came in for

Stone chips and scratches had built up across the paintwork of this Mercedes-Benz E200. The owner wanted the car restored to its showroom condition, so it came in for a fresh coat of paint.

Over the course of a week the team dismantled the necessary parts, examined and patched the chips and scratches, wet-sanded the whole surface smooth, and masked off every non-painted surface before spraying the car in the booth. A ZeTough Titanium Paint Protection coating went on at the end for a long-lasting protected finish. The photos below follow the car from arrival to the finished reveal.

From patching to the reveal

What a full respray involves

A full respray is mostly preparation. Before any colour goes on, the team dismantles the necessary parts, patches chips and scratches, wet-sands the whole body smooth, and masks off every surface that should not be painted. A sound, even foundation is what makes the final finish look right.

  • Full exterior coat applied in a dedicated spray booth
  • Buffed to a deep shine and sealed with ZeTough Titanium

Once the car is sprayed in the booth, the paint is wet-sanded and buffed to bring up the shine, the trim and parts are refitted, and a ZeTough Titanium Paint Protection coating is applied on top to keep the finish glossy and protected for years.
