Mercedes-Benz E250, resprayed and back to showroom condition.

The paintwork on this Mercedes-Benz E250 had seen better days. The car came in for a full exterior respray, finished with a ZeTough Ceramic Paint Protection coating.

What the car came in for

The paintwork on this Mercedes-Benz E250 had lost its lustre, and the owner wanted the car brought back to showroom condition. It came in for a full exterior respray.

Over the course of a week the team dismantled the necessary parts, checked the body for imperfections and patched them, then wet-sanded the whole car smooth before masking and spraying. A ZeTough Ceramic Paint Protection coating went on at the end. The photos below follow the car from arrival to the finished reveal.

From patching to the reveal

What a full respray involves

A full respray is mostly preparation. Before any colour goes on, the team dismantles parts, patches chips and uneven areas, wet-sands the whole body smooth, and masks off every surface that should not be painted. A sound, even foundation is what makes the final finish look right.

  • Full exterior coat applied in a dedicated spray booth
  • Polished to a deep shine and sealed with ZeTough Ceramic

Once the car is sprayed in the booth, the paint is sanded and polished to bring up the shine, the trim and parts are refitted, and a ZeTough Ceramic Paint Protection coating is applied on top to keep the finish glossy and protected for years.
