Mercedes-Benz SLK200, full respray in silver.

A silver Mercedes-Benz SLK200 came in with dull paint and blemishes across the body. The team stripped, patched, primed and resprayed the full exterior, then finished it with ZeTough Ceramic.

What the car came in for

The owner's SLK200 had lost its lustre and carried paintwork blemishes, including scuffs on the front bumper and wheel arch. The request was a new coat of paint across the whole exterior.

The team removed the parts that needed to come off, then checked the surface and patched every scratch and chip. The body was wet-sanded several times, primed and masked before it went into the spray booth.

After spraying, the new paint was wet-sanded and polished again and the removed parts were refitted. The car was finished with ZeTough Ceramic paint protection.

What a full respray involves

A full respray is mostly preparation. Before any colour goes on, the team patches chips, wet-sands the whole body smooth, and masks off every surface that should not be painted. A sound, even foundation is what makes the final finish look right.

  • Full exterior coat applied in a dedicated spray booth
  • Buffed to a deep shine and sealed with ZeTough Ceramic

Once the car is sprayed in the booth, the paint is wet-sanded and buffed to bring up the shine, the trim and parts are refitted, and a ZeTough Ceramic Paint Protection coating is applied on top to keep the finish glossy and protected for years.
