Nissan X-Trail, resprayed back to showroom glory.

The owner of this Nissan X-Trail wanted his car revived to its showroom condition. It came in for a full exterior respray, finished with a ZeTough Ceramic Paint Protection coating.

What the car came in for

The owner of this Nissan X-Trail wanted his car brought back to its showroom glory. The car came in for a full exterior respray paired with a ceramic coating for a deep, glossy finish.

Over the course of a week the team dismantled the necessary parts, scanned the body and patched every imperfection, wet-sanded it smooth, masked off every non-painted surface, and resprayed the car in the booth. A ZeTough Ceramic Paint Protection coating went on at the end to lock in the gloss. The photos below follow the car from arrival to the finished reveal.

From wet-sanding to the reveal

What a full respray involves

A full respray is mostly preparation. Before any colour goes on, the team patches chips, wet-sands the whole body smooth, and masks off every surface that should not be painted. A sound, even foundation is what makes the final finish look right.

  • Chips patched and the body wet-sanded smooth
  • Every non-painted surface masked before spraying
  • Full exterior coat applied in a dedicated spray booth
  • Buffed to a deep shine and sealed with ZeTough Ceramic

Once the car is sprayed in the booth, the paint is wet-sanded and buffed to bring up the shine, the trim and parts are refitted, and a ZeTough Ceramic Paint Protection coating is applied on top to keep the finish glossy and protected for years.
