🎨What the car came in for
This Peugeot 308 had picked up some big dents along with chipped and scratched paint across many panels. The owner wanted the car's appearance restored, so it came in for a full exterior respray.
The team dismantled the necessary parts, repeatedly wet-sanded the whole surface smooth, then sprayed the car in the booth. Compound polishing brought up the shine before the removed parts were refitted. The photos below follow the car from arrival to the finished reveal.
🛠️What a full respray involves
A full respray is mostly preparation. Before any colour goes on, the team dismantles the necessary parts, repairs dents and chips, wet-sands the whole body smooth, and masks off every surface that should not be painted. A sound, even foundation is what makes the final finish look right.
- Parts dismantled and dents and chips repaired
- Body wet-sanded smooth and fully masked before spraying
- Full exterior coat applied in a dedicated spray booth
- Compound-polished to a deep, even shine
Once the car is sprayed in the booth, the paint is wet-sanded and compound-polished to bring up the shine, then the trim and parts are refitted. The result is an even, glossy finish across every panel.
