What the car came in for

This Porsche 911 Carrera S came to Revol Carz with scratches and other paintwork blemishes spread across the body. The owner wanted the car taken back to a showroom finish, so it came in for a full respray.

Over seven days the car was stripped down, its panels repaired and wet-sanded smooth, masked, then resprayed and polished. The photos below follow that work from the day the car arrived through to the before and after reveal, with the finish sealed in a ZeTough Titanium coating at the end.

What a full respray involves

A full respray is not just a change of colour. The result depends on the preparation: dismantling trim and parts, checking the surface for scratches and dents, patching uneven areas with filler, and wet-sanding until the foundation is smooth.

  • Surface checked, filled, and wet-sanded smooth before any paint
  • Panels carefully masked so paint reaches only where it should
  • Compound-polished to a mirror shine
  • Sealed with a ZeTough Titanium coating

At Revol Carz the panels are wet-sanded again, then carefully masked before spraying. After the coat is laid, the paint is wet-sanded and compound-polished to a mirror finish and the car is reassembled. A ZeTough Titanium coating on top keeps the new paint protected and glossy for years.
