Toyota Prius, full respray in white.

A white Toyota Prius came in for a full spray painting. The team stripped, patched, primed and resprayed the exterior, then finished it with ZeTough Ceramic.

What the car came in for

This Prius came in for a full exterior spray painting, with chipped and scratched paint along the front wing and wheel arch. The team first removed the mirrors, tail lights, antenna and other parts that needed to come off.

Every flaw on the surface was patched, and the whole body was wet-sanded repeatedly until level. A primer coat went on, followed by another round of wet sanding, then the non-painted surfaces were masked off.

After spraying, the paint was oven-baked, sanded again to remove subtle impurities and polished. The parts were refitted and the car was finished with ZeTough Ceramic paint protection.

What a full respray involves

A full respray is mostly preparation. Before any colour goes on, the team patches chips, wet-sands the whole body smooth, and masks off every surface that should not be painted. A sound, even foundation is what makes the final finish look right.

  • Full exterior coat applied in a dedicated spray booth
  • Buffed to a deep shine and sealed with ZeTough Ceramic

Once the car is sprayed in the booth, the paint is wet-sanded and buffed to bring up the shine, the trim and parts are refitted, and a ZeTough Ceramic Paint Protection coating is applied on top to keep the finish glossy and protected for years.
