🎨What the car came in for
Over the years, the paintwork on this Toyota Vios had turned dull and picked up scratches across the body. The owner wanted the car restored to showroom condition.
Over six days the team dismantled the necessary parts, inspected the body and repaired the scratches with putty, then wet-sanded the whole car smooth before masking and spraying. A ZeTough Ceramic Paint Protection coating went on at the end. The photos below follow the car from arrival to the finished reveal.
🛠️What a full respray involves
A full respray is mostly preparation. Before any colour goes on, the team dismantles parts, repairs scratches, applies putty, wet-sands the whole body smooth, and masks off every surface that should not be painted. A sound, even foundation is what makes the final finish look right.
- Scratches repaired and the body wet-sanded smooth
- Every non-painted surface masked before spraying
- Full exterior coat applied in a dedicated spray booth
- Polished to a deep shine and sealed with ZeTough Ceramic
Once the car is sprayed in the booth, the paint is sanded and polished to bring up the shine, the trim and parts are refitted, and a ZeTough Ceramic Paint Protection coating is applied on top to keep the finish glossy and protected for years.
