What the car came in for

This Volkswagen Tiguan came to Revol Carz for a full body respray. The team stripped the car down, removing panels, lights, and trim to ensure every surface could be properly prepared and painted.

Over several days the car was wet-sanded smooth, carefully masked, then resprayed and polished. The series below follows that work from the day-two strip-down through to the before and after reveal, with the car finished in a ZeTough Ceramic Paint Protection coating.

What a full respray involves

A full respray begins long before any paint is applied. The car is dismantled: panels, lights, trim, and anything that would prevent a clean, uniform coat. The bare surface is then inspected, any chips or imperfections are addressed, and the body is wet-sanded until it is smooth and level.

  • Wet-sanded to a smooth, level foundation before any paint
  • Sprayed, then polished to a deep, even shine
  • Sealed with a ZeTough Ceramic Paint Protection coating

At Revol Carz the prepared surface is primed and wet-sanded again before masking and spraying. After the coat is applied, the paint is polished to bring up the shine and the car is reassembled. A ZeTough Ceramic Paint Protection coating on top keeps the new finish protected and glossy for years.
