Coating warranty

A coating warranty is a professional guarantee of a ceramic coating's gloss and water-repelling performance for a set period, conditional on correct prep and maintenance.

What it means

A coating warranty sets out what an installer promises a ceramic coating will do over its rated life. Typically it guarantees gloss retention and hydrophobic performance, meaning the finish stays bright and water keeps beading and sheeting off for the stated period. That promise is conditional. It depends on the coating being applied over properly corrected and decontaminated paint, on the warranty being registered, and on the owner sticking to a coating-safe maintenance-wash routine instead of harsh automatic brushes or aggressive chemicals. Just as important is what a coating warranty does not cover. It is not a guarantee against scratches, swirl marks, stone chips, kerb rash, or impact damage. A coating is sacrificial and protective, not bulletproof. Read the document carefully: a clear warranty tells you the period, the conditions, and the exclusions in plain terms.

Why it matters in Singapore

Ceramic coating is a real investment, and Singapore's UV, humidity above 80 percent, and sudden downpours test a finish hard every single day. A warranty backed by a reputable installer gives an owner recourse if gloss or water behaviour drops off early. It also signals that the installer trusts their own prep and product. Knowing the exclusions upfront prevents the common frustration of expecting a coating to stop stone chips.

How Revol Carz handles this

Revol Carz issues warranty paperwork on collection for every ZeTough coating, across the Glass 6H, Ceramic 9H, and Titanium tiers. We walk owners through exactly what the warranty covers, what it excludes, and the maintenance-wash habits that keep it valid. Every coating is applied over full decontamination and paint correction, so the guarantee rests on prep done right.
