Glass coating
Glass coating is the entry tier of ceramic paint protection at Revol Carz, marketed as ZeTough Glass 6H and rated to 6H on the pencil hardness scale.
What it means
Glass coating sits one rung above traditional sealants and waxes and one rung below a full ceramic coating. It uses the same SiO2 chemistry but in a less concentrated formula that cures to 6H pencil hardness, which still resists most everyday surface scratching from microfibre cloths, light brushes, and contaminants. The hydrophobic effect is strong from day one, water beads tightly, and washing becomes faster because grime does not cling. Typical durability under Singapore conditions is around 3 years. It is the right choice for owners who want measurable, lasting protection without committing to a premium 9H or Titanium spec, and for cars that will be sold or deregistered before a longer warranty would pay off.
Why it matters in Singapore
Many Singapore owners rotate cars on a 5 to 7 year cycle as COE depreciates. A 3-year glass coating maps cleanly onto that ownership window. It is also a sensible step up for cars that came out of the showroom with only a basic dealer wax or no protection at all, which is more common than buyers realise.
How Revol Carz handles this
ZeTough Glass 6H is offered at Revol Carz from S$588. Every glass coating job includes the same prep workflow as our higher tiers: full decontamination, paint correction, and climate-controlled application. Warranty paperwork is issued on collection, and we walk owners through aftercare for the curing window.
