Hi Everyone,
A luxury Mercedes S400 sedan rolled in to our Carz Makeover Workshop today. The driver/ owner gently stepped out and with a soft smile, handed over the car keys to me and softly said, “Do the usual good job for my New Car!”.
I knew exactly that he had expected nothing less than professional-standard car grooming and he wished to include the tried-and-proven, ZeTough Ceramic Paint Protection coating. Our task was to deliver his already gleaming brand New S-class in better and even more radiant conditions.
It is easy to see the customer’s expectations. Mercedes Benz claimed the new, sixth generation, S-Class is the world’s best car.
The exterior design is highly-sophisticated with features of sporty elegance and stylish poise. Some interesting features include a large three-dimensional front grille and LED lights inside and out – a first in the automotive industry.
Talking about “first”, the S-Class is the world’s first car to be able to detect and react to bumps with the optional ‘MAGIC BODY CONTROL” system by using stereo cameras technology to scan for imperfections on the road surface.
The interior of the new S400 continues the tradition with the most pampering cabin filled with supple leather, exquisite wood and metal trims.
Under the hood is the twin-turbocharged 3.0 liter, V6 engine with a seven-speed automatic transmission, rear-wheels drive. Performance: 0-100 km/h in 5.3 seconds and top speed is 250 km/h.

Almost every surface of the interior is pampered with luxury materials. The instrument cluster consists of two 30.5 cm widescreen displays with animated graphics
The horizontal theme elements and the horizontal two-spoke steering wheel create wider and larger impression of the interior
The two massive 32cm diameter digital display screens mounted on a floating backlit panel
Despite the ultra-modern and luxurious interior, an analog clock breaks the monotony
On the center console is a touch-sensitive telephone keypad with 12 customized memory settings lets users access complex functions within easy reach
Open the doors and you are greeted with welcoming chromed skirt plates bearing “Mercedes-Benz
From the rear view, the coupe-like windows and V-shaped boots give the S400 its regal appearance. The three-strip bi-color tail lamps stand out of the boot lid
The bi-color rear taillights have up to 35 LED’s, plus 4 LED’s for rear fog lamps
S-Class integrated exhaust tips.
Mulit Spokes Rims.
The S400 deserves attention and adulation and is without a doubt, the finest car that Mercedes Benz has built. The array of safety and technical features are mind blowing.
